Fresh off the foot-heels of our Clay for the Queen Tour in England, the Pixologic Team are back at it again!

We’re set to take the stage inside the Gnomon School of Visual Effects Green Screen Room, here on the grounds of the Television Center in Hollywood.

Be there as we showcase the latest features and functions inside ZBrush 4R5. You’ll get an inside look at how to maximize your use of new features like, Panel Loops, Polish by Features, Frame Mesh settings to name a few.

Join us as we mix and mingle with other ZBrush community members and artists from various industries in an evening of digital clay talk.

The night promises to be filled with excitement and informative ZBrush demonstrations. Along with our own Paul Gaboury, we’ll have a special guest presentation with ZBrush artist and instructor, Rafael Grassetti.

Paul Gaboury

Paul Gaboury is Pixologic's Lead 3D Specialist who works with various studios such as Industrial Light & Magic, Ubisoft, Legacy Effects, Disney Animation, Bad Robot, Pixar Animation, etc on enhancing their digital sculpting pipeline using the leading industry application ZBrush. As part of the Pixologic team Paul travels to various studios and schools giving demos on to highlight the various new tools in ZBrush. Paul graduated with a BFA from Bowling Green State University and was an extension student at Gnomon School of Visual Effects.

Rafael Grassetti

Rafael is currently working as a Supervisor at Sony San Diego. Previously he worked at Bioware where he contributed to the Mass Effect and Dragon Age titles. He also worked as a freelance artist for more than 15 studios and 70 projects, including Cinematic Production, Game Art, TV, Printed Advertising and Sculpture and Toy Design.

He has taught classes and acclaimed workshops in Brazil.

Rafael will be sharing his work flow and breakdowns, production techniques and tips. He will also create a piece live, showing all his process in zbrush from sketching to rendering.
